✨ Hello & Welcome
I'm a counselor-in-training at Oregon State University, graduate student in masters of counseling program, preparing to become a clinical mental health counselor with a focus on trauma-informed and grief-informed care. My journey into this work has been shaped by years of volunteering and community service, including The Dougy Center, William Temple House, and the Portland VA Hospital. I hold an MFA from the School of Visual Arts and an MA in Media Studies from The New School, studied film at Emerson College. I deeply honor lived experience, especially the journeys of those navigating grief and loss. Previously, I worked as a website designer and taught at Portland Community College. I love living in Portland, Oregon, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. You can find my writing here and on Medium, along with curated resources for heart-centered living and mental wellness. I grew up in Miami, lived a decade in New York City, and now call Portland home, experiences that continue to inform my appreciation for diverse stories and ways of being. I strive to create spaces where people of all identities feel seen, respected, and welcome.
